語源
'poeticise'は英語に由来し、形容詞'poetic'とフランス語の動詞化接尾辞'iser'（英語では'-ise'）から形成されたもので、'poetic'は最終的にギリシャ語'poietikos'（詩人に関する）に由来し、接尾辞は「〜にする／〜にさせる」を意味した。
