語源
「re-tinting」は接頭辞「re-」（ラテン語の 're-'：『再び』を意味）と「tint」から成る。『tint』は古フランス語の 'teint'／'tinte' に由来し、さらにラテン語の 'tingere'（染める・色を付ける）にさかのぼる。
