語源
「ministerial」はラテン語、具体的には「ministerialis」（「minister」から）に由来し、「minister」は「召使い」や「随員」を意味した。
「ministerial」は中世ラテン語の「ministerialis」や古フランス語の影響を経て英語に入り、中世後期に形容詞として用いられるようになった。
