語源
「antinarrative」は現代英語に由来し、ギリシャ語の接頭辞「anti（反〜）」とラテン語の「narrare（語る）」に由来する「narrative（物語）」の結合によって作られた語である。
「narrative」はラテン語の『narrare』から古フランス語形を経て中英語の『narrative』となり、現代英語の『narrative』になった。一方『anti-』はギリシャ語から英語へ取り入れられ、生産的な接頭辞として『narrative』と結び付けられて『antinarrative』が生まれた。
