語源
「attaint（アテイント）」はアングロ＝フランス語／古フランス語の語『ataint』（動詞 'ataindre'/'atteindre' の過去分詞）に由来し、さらにラテン語の要素 'ad-'（〜へ）と 'tangere'（触れる）から派生した（俗ラテン語 *attingere を経由）。
