語源
「nonreciprocity」は英語の構成要素に由来する。否定接頭辞「non-」（ラテン語 'non' = 「〜でない」）と、最終的にラテン語 'reciprocus'（「戻る・返す」）に由来する名詞「reciprocity」の結合による。
