語源
「aspartate（アスパレート）」は近代ラテン語／化学命名法に由来し、アスパラギン酸に関する 'aspartic' と化学接尾辞 '-ate' の結合から来る。'aspartic' は最終的にラテン語 'asparagus（アスパラガス）' に由来する 'asparagine（アスパラギン）' に由来する。
