語源
「apokatastasis」はギリシャ語「『ἀποκατάστασις』」に由来し、「apo-」は「離れて・から」、「katastasis」は「並び立つこと・回復」を意味した。
「apokatastasis」は中世ラテン語の「『apocatastasis』」を経て、神学的ラテン語の用法を通じて英語に入った。
