語源
「apoapsis」はギリシャ語の要素に由来する: 接頭辞 'apo-' はギリシャ語 'ἀπό'（～から離れて）を意味し、'apsis' はギリシャ語 'ἁψίς'（弧、輪）を意味する。天文学では軌道の極点を表す語として用いられる。
