語源
「antiquarian」はラテン語の後期ラテン語『antiquarius』に由来し、『antiquus』は「古い」を意味した。
『antiquarian』は中世フランス語の『antiquaire』（または中世ラテン語の『antiquarius』）を経て現代英語の『antiquarian』になった。
