語源
「Alexandrianism」は近代英語に由来し、形容詞「Alexandrian」と接尾辞「-ism」の結合から成る。ここで「Alexandrian」は「アレクサンドリアに関する」を意味し、「-ism」は「学説・運動・特徴的慣行」を示す。
