語源
「sensitizer」は近代英語の動詞「sensitize」から生じ、これは19世紀のフランス語「sensibiliser」からの派生で、接尾辞「-er」は「...するもの」を示す。語幹の「sens-」は最終的にラテン語の「sensus（感覚・感情）」に由来する。
