語源
「resurgence」はラテン語の「resurgere」に由来し、接頭辞「re-」は「再び」、動詞「surgere」は「立ち上がる・上がる」を意味した。
「resurgere」は中世ラテン語に受け継がれ、フランス語の「résurgence」のような形を経て、最終的に現代英語の「resurgence」になった。
