語源
「fascist」はイタリア語の「fascista」に由来し、「fascio」は（ラテン語の「fascis」から）「束」を意味した。初期のイタリア運動がその象徴を用いた。
「fascist」は20世紀初頭のイタリア語「fascista」から変化して英語に入り、「fascio」→ラテン語「fascis」を経て現在の形になった。
