語源
「bagwoman」は英語に由来し、'bag'＋'woman'の複合語として形成され、賄賂や資金を運ぶ人を指す'bagman'にならって作られた。'bag'は金を入れて運ぶ袋、'woman'は女性を意味する。
「bagwoman」は『bagを運ぶ人物』を意味する 'bagman'（19〜20世紀初頭の米語）に倣って形成された女性形である。
