語源
「attractor」はラテン語の動詞「attrahere」から来ており、『ad-』は「〜へ（向かって）」、『trahere』は「引く」という意味。
「attrahere」はロマンス語（例：古フランス語の『attraire／attirer』）を経て中英語の『attract』になり、近代英語で動作主を表す接尾辞『-or』が付いて『attractor』になった。
