語源
「appreciant」は現代英語に由来し、動詞「appreciate」に接尾辞「-ant」を付けて作られた。『appreciate』は最終的に後期ラテン語の「appretiare」（ラテン語の接頭辞'ad-'と'pretium'「価格」から）に由来する。
