語源
「apodeictically」は古代ギリシア語の形容詞「apodeiktikos」（動詞「apodeiknynai／apodeiknumi」から）に由来し、接頭辞「apo-」は「〜から／離れて」、語根「deik-」（「deiknynai」）は「示す」を意味した。
「apodeiktikos」は後期ラテン語・中世ラテン語の「apodeicticus」を経て、新ラテン語や近代英語の学術的用法として英語の「apodeictic」になり、さらに副詞形「apodeictically」が作られた。
