語源
「Homoousian」はギリシャ語の『homoousios』に由来し、『homō-』は「同じ」を、『ousia』は「存在」または「本質・実体」を意味した。
『homoousios』（ギリシャ語）からラテン語後期の『homoousius』、神学ラテン語の『homoousianus』等へ変化し、最終的に英語の『Homoousian』になった。
