語源
『racemose』は新ラテン語の『racemosus』に由来し、そこでは『racemus』が『房・房状の房（特にぶどうの房）』を意味した。
『racemose』は新ラテン語の『racemosus』（さらにラテン語の『racemus』）から変化し、植物学ラテン語を経て現代英語の学術形容詞として入ってきた。
