語源
「non-Arcadian」は、否定を表すラテン語接頭辞「non（〜でない）」と、ギリシャ語の地方名「Αρκαδία（アルカディア）」に由来する「Arcadian（アルカディア的）」を組み合わせた語です。
「Arcadia」はギリシャ語の「Αρκαδία（アルカディア）」に由来し、ラテン語の「Arcadia」を経て英語の地名・形容詞「Arcadian」になりました。その後、英語で否定の接頭辞「non-」が付され「non-Arcadian」が作られました。
