語源
「deplume」はフランス語の「déplumer」から来ており、『dé-』は『取り除く・はらう』、'plume'は『羽』を意味する語に由来します。
「deplume」はフランス語の「déplumer」から変化し、中世後期〜近世にかけて英語に借用され、『deplume』や『depluming』などの形になりました。
