語源
『asystematic』はギリシャ語の要素に由来する。接頭辞『a-』（ギリシャ語の『a-』）は「～でない」を意味し、『systēma』（συστήμα）は「組織された全体・体系」を意味する。
『systēma』はラテン語の『systema』として入り、のちに英語で形容詞『systematic』が作られた。学術的な形成により否定の接頭辞『a-』が付され、現代英語の『asystematic』になった。
