語源
「anti-cybersquatting」は接頭辞「anti-」（反対を意味するギリシャ語・ラテン語由来の英語接頭辞）と、'cyber-'（『サイバネティクス』に由来し、ギリシャ語 kybernetes「舵取り」を語源とする）＋ 'squatting'（英語の『squat』から、占有すること）を組み合わせてできた。
